Notes From The Teacher
We had a great time this last week with bears and teddy bears. Friday was especially fun when we brought our bears from home to read to and write stories about. This week we will write reindeer stories and find out what real reindeer are like. Kwanzaa will be a key focus this just as Hanukkah was the focus this last week. The last week before the holiday we will focus on Christmas and family traditions for the holidays.
Please be sure your first grader is getting to bed on time and has an opportunity to work on reading and writing. It is a very busy time of year and often student's schedule changes and activities cause unfavorable consequences at school.  
Tuesday is PTA family night. This is a great holiday activity to spend time together with family and friends. Hope you can come.
